Source Journalism and News Values is a critique-book with educational purposes, written by the American journalist and writer Joel Landau. It was published as an eBook in October 2016, catching the attention of journalism students.

The book ultimately represents Joel Landau's take on the whole journalism industry. Having worked on various positions in journalism, he has developed a unique point of view on what exactly is going on with this field. The book describes how people regularly read the newspaper in the 20th century, and how this "new phenomenon" on Facebook is bringing waves to the business.[1]
