As we take our journey through the world of 1984, we will explore the themes deeply and pose to each other essential questions-- those raised both by the novel and by ourselves. We will build this wiki together as we go, each of us adding to it our own knowledge of the book and of the world.
There will be a few main sections: the Literary Elements Pages (each of you will be responsible for one; details to follow), the Big Questions section (where we will ponder the nature of human life, and other simple things), and the Themes page (which the small groups will create and edit).
So, let's sit back and enjoy the ride!

We will also have a section in which people can post their Favorite Quotes from 1984. These can be the quotes that scared you the most, that you found the most interesting, that were funny to you, or that really made you stop and think! Have fun!
