Alice Jean Chandler Webster better known as Jean Webster (1876-1916) was the author of Daddy Long Legs, Wheat Princess, The Four Pools Mystery, Jerry, Jerry Junior, Just Patty, When Patty Went to College and Dear Enemy. She was also a social activist.
